1st Annual (?) RJC Garage Sale Update:

Everyone,
I hope
you are as excited about this garage sale as I am. If this is
successful we may want to make this an annual sale. This will
also be an interesting way to advertise the RJC. Many Jaguar
owners may not even be aware that there is such a club in town.
Our signs and newspaper add will advertise that the Reno Jaguar Club
is sponsoring this event. Anyone with any curiosity about the club
may show up. Even if they don’t it promises to be a prosperous
day. After the sale it is planned that we all go over to
Bertha Miranda’s for a leisurely lunch. This restaurant is in
short walking distance from the sale. This informal lunch will be in
place of our regular September monthly/dinner meeting.

items will be welcome:
Small
Appliances
Furniture
Household items
Ski
equipment
Golf
items
Books
Clothing
Games –
Toys
Miscellaneous items
Car
parts would be especially welcome.
All the
proceeds from this garage sale will go into the RJC account.
A truck
from a second hand store will pick up all of our leftovers at 12:30
PM
Items
may be dropped off early starting on Monday, September 18th.
You
MUST call either Gary
or Kathy Dyer BEFORE you go to make sure that they are there to take
your donations.

You can also bring your items to the
garage sale on Saturday Morning, the earlier the better. We
will be setting up starting at 6:30 AM.

signs where we could put our Garage Sale Signs on for directing
people to the sale?
Anyone
want to make the signs? Help make the signs? :>)
Tables
– for displaying items
Blankets or sheets – for displaying items
Shade
tents that can be used on a driveway
LABOR!
The RJC
will donate donuts and waters for helpers at this sale.
Let’s
make this a GREAT event. PLEASE EVERYONE, try to donate some
items. What is a garage sale with nothing to sell? ALSO,
it will be a fun day to get together on a club project. SO,
mark you calendars and I will see you ALL there!
Bring
your JAGUARS if you can. We will have special parking for
them!
