Hello Ladies of the RJC!

I have been working on a Spa Day just for us.
The Date for this is JULY 7, 2007

Here is how this evolved:

Mike Glass decided it would be fun to have a RJC Golf Tournament. What a GREAT idea he had! I had a feeling that this golf game would bring out mostly the "Men" in our club so I then thought, "hum, wouldn't it be fun for the members (mostly ladies) who didn't want to go play golf to have a special SPA Day?"

I have been researching different spas to see who had the best deals to offer us. Thank you Lynne and Pat for your suggestions. It turns out that one of the best spa's for our group would be the "Genesis Salon and Medical Spa". They are big enough to accommodate our group.

Here is what I have envisioned:

….We all arrive and are taken to private rooms to change into Terry cloth robes and slippers. Then we would all meet in a main room where we would be served mimosas

and appetizers and visit while we wait to be called for our individual treatments....

Here are a few things that are offered and their prices:

Massage - $85

Facial - $85

Manicure - $30

Pedicure - $65

Both M & P - $85

Body wrap - $85

Jaguar Club Golf tournament Sunday July 15.

We cruise to the former Dragon course in Portola, now called the Nakoma
Golf Resort and tee it up at noon. The $50 entry fee includes the cart. There
will be some little extras as tee prizes, nothing fancy but useful. We
have three tee times reserved but we can get more.

Non-players can raid nearby Graeagle for lunch and shopping at some very
unique places.

Following golf will be a “Fantasy Golf Tournament” open to everyone over
cocktails on the outside deck overlooking the Feather River canyon area,
or inside in the Frank Lloyd Wright designed lodge. Winners can select from
the “White Elephant “ gifts requested from everyone. (Gifts that didn’t sell
in your last garage sale). Fantasy Golf is played with a pen or pencil that
scratches off 18 holes on a card.

An optional buffet follows at 6pm. The price is still being determined,
somewhere between $12 and $15. Chicken and ribs have been discussed.
