May 2007 Announcements

Hi Everyone!

The RJC board met this weekend and was able to agree upon a date for the trip that was cancelled to Cal-Neva. This trip will enable us to view the site where our "A Day On The Village Green" will be held on June 22 - 24, 2007. We will drive as a group there and have lunch at the "Lakeview Dining Restaurant" in the Cal Neva Resort/Casino, (this my be closed for remodeling) or another restaurant close by. After lunch those who choose can take a cruise around the lake or to another destination.

The New Date is:

May 12, 2007 (this Saturday)

Details:

We will meet at 9:30 AM at the Tamarack Casino on South Virginia Street.
We will leave as a group at 10:00 and have a scenic cruise up Mt Rose Hwy to the Cal-Neva Resort & Casino.
A head count of who is planning to go would be appreciated so that we don't leave without you!

The Second Annual RJC Garage Sale
(May 19,2007)

Note the garage sale will be instead of the monthly meeting.

RJC Garage Sale - This 2nd annual RJC Garage Sale will be at the Dyer’s new home in Saddlehorn, 13340 Saddlebow Drive. Our sale will coincide with Saddlehorn’s 15th Annual Community Garage Sale. The sale will start at 8:00 AM.

What to Bring:
ANYTHING! Please go through your closets and garage(s) and bring whatever you can donate. Car parts, yard items, tools, clothes, household items, jewelry, baby clothes, nick nacks, ALL will be welcome. All proceeds will go to the club. This promises to be a really fun day.

After the sale we are having a Pot-Luck Barbeque. The RJC will sponsor hot dogs and hamburgers with the fixings. We would appreciate if each family could bring a side dish. Something you made or bought: appetizers, salads, desserts. Also, everyone is responsible for his or her own beverages - YUM!
Don’t forget the Sunscreen!
