Update from the August 14, 2005 Monthly Meeting at the Carson City Train Museum:

It was unfortunate that Rich & I (Patti) weren't able to attend this monthly meeting but we heard from some of the members just how much fun it was.  Here is what Gerard Garra had to say:

"We had a great turn out for this event.  There were ten Jaguars and 1 interloper in the form of a Dino Ferarri.

"For awhile there we thought we were not going to be able the ride the steam engine due to some problems.  They finally got it going again around noon.

"Most of the members were in the only shade on the opposite side from the picnic tables,  (there are a couple of pictures)  We finally got shade when Peter arrived with the umbrella and canopy.

"After lunch was a done a group of adventurous souls went for the train ride.  We did our 2 laps in a converted tunnel repair car.

"The museum was interesting, I really enjoyed seeing all the old engines and coaches.  All the old artifacts and pictures really made you think how difficult those times were."

Thank you Gerard for the nice update.  Also thank you and Pat & Harry Keast for the following pictures:
