On May 14, 2005 Peter and Patricia (Patty) Smith hosted the first RJC English Tea ever in the back yard of their vintage home.  The setting was perfect and the weather was incredible.  It was 80 degrees, the nicest day of the year so far.  The yard with all the tables and umbrellas was charming.  They even had a harpist play soothing music that filled the Spring air.  All the RJC members wore clothing to match the setting.  The Smiths had a variety of teas to sample along with many authentic English finger foods.  Many RJC members also brought tea fares to share with the other members.  This was one wonderful day.  To get the feel of the day please look at the following pictures.
