Dinner/Meeting Notes

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Reno

 

 

Over 40 members/guest were in attendance.  What a great turnout – let’s keep this up.

 

The food was outstanding.  We were not able to have a formal meeting due to the fact that it was very noisy so Patti Wilder passed out meeting notes to each family.

 

We had a guest speaker, Charles Doyle.  He is the founder and producer of the “Autoexotica” event as well as the now defunct “Sports Cars and All That Jazz”.  He didn’t do a formal speech but spoke with members individually.  He passed around postcards that had a discount coupon on them for $5.00 off at the Reno-Fernely Raceway good for June 8 – 10, 2007

We had new, (old – previous Members from 1980’s), join us for dinner.  They were Shoeshoe (Don) & Norma Thompson.  Has the RJC changed much over the years? Welcome Back!

 

Members who won prizes were:

Ellie & Larry Richardson won the raffle prize - John Wittrig & Debbie McMurtrey donated a $100 gift certificate to Adele’s.

Rich Wilder won $10.00 for the attendance award.

Sam Dibitonto won $10.00 for getting the trivia question right.

The raffle brought in $113.00.
