August 18, 2007 Progressive Dinner Meeting On Saturday August 18th, 2007 The Reno Jaguar Club held its Progressive Dinner. The group started out at the home of Mike & Kathy Glass where we dined on an appetizers that included a delicious stuffed mushroom provided by Larry & Ellie Richardson, some focaccia bread with mozzarella cheese drizzled with olive oil and baked to perfection, and some bacon wrapped water chestnuts smothered in brown sugar and baked to yumminess! Thanks Richardson's! We had a driveway full of exotic cars from our Jaguars, a great Ferrari owned by Tony & Terry Mitchell, a Mercedes, even a Dodge pickup! We next went to the awesome home of our new members, Allan and Inga Lum for two wonderful salads. We enjoyed the huge backyard while drinking and dining. Thanks Allan & Inga! Next we made the road-trip to the new, yet not quite lived in, home of Gary and Kathy Dyer for a main course of Salmon and Tri-Tip Steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All the while helping Kathy to decide on a paint color for her house's rooms. Then it was on to the fabulous home of Iain and Wendy Buxton for some tantalizing desserts. We had many choices and all were unbelievable! Thanks Wendy and Iain! We were 26 strong and all went home with very full bellies! It was also quite a show to see the faces on the street as we all zipped by them in our wonderful cars! Thanks to the families who hosted the club!Pics and report by Mike Glass Click on a photo for a larger view. |
