On May 19th the Reno Jaguar Club participated in a garage sale in conjunction with the 15th Annual Saddlehorn Community Garage Sale in Reno, Nevada.  Gary and Kathy Dyer lent us the use of their property in Saddlehorn for this sale.  I bet this is the first time in the Reno Jaguar Clubs history that we have had a garage sale at a home where the owners haven't even moved in yet.  There isn't a "THANK YOU" big enough to show the Dyers how much this was appreciated!

The RJC members were able to stay cool in the large garage.  Donuts and coffee were available as well.

What a turn out we had.  There were too many customers to count.  They kept coming in at a steady flow all morning and into the early afternoon when we called it quits at 1:30 PM.  Lynne Lenker was a terrific cashier and sales person.  She did a great job in keeping an eye on our cash flow.  There are so many other members to thank for all that they did in making sure that this sale ran smoothly - you know who you are :>) Thank you!

Along with the garage sale, Gerard Garra, the RJC's Chief Judge, held a judging seminar.  He is working on getting RJC members ready to judge the cars that will be present at their upcoming, A Day on the Village Green.  Everyone who attended his class passed!  We have a very smart group of people!

While the garage sale was being picked up and the lunch/early dinner was being prepared squirt guns appeared!  It was hot so no one really minded getting squirted.  Patti got squirted quit a few times especially by Harry Keast!

After the garage sale/judges training there was a free dinner to all that contributed to the fun work day.  Kathy Dyer purchased & set out Costco's lasagnas, rotisserie chickens, salads and brownie bites for dessert. There was wine and sodas and water for all.  Kathy & Gary volunteered their unfurnished living room for our feast.  The room was soon filled up with large tables and chairs that were brought in from the outside garage sale and with the RJC members who happily sat and ate their delicious meal.  Laughter and good conversation was enjoyed by all.

This was a very lucrative day.  The gross total was, $507 and after the expense of the meal was deducted the RJC brought in $383 for the club's treasury.  WAY TO GO GUYS!
