  • Charlie Manchester mentioned a train event at Benbow in Eureka, Northern California.  This is the train that Governors and Presidents take for stage stops.
  • Harry Hart mentioned that he and his wife, Anita, went to the Harrah's Automobile Museum and were pleased to discover that since they were RJC members they got free admission.  Thank you Harry for reminding our club about this perk.
  • George Tabor asked for volunteers who had convertibles to help Spanish Springs High School with their Home Coming to be held next Friday, Sept. 17th.  He said that cars were needed to transport the homecoming queen and her court around the football field.  George stated that another car club was to do this but as of today's date they had not confirmed.  George then told the school that the Reno Jaguar Club would step up and help out these kids!  Four or five cars will be needed.  George said that he should know on Monday, Sept. 13th if we are needed or not.  George is working on incentives.  Volunteers/cars are asked to be at Spanish Springs High School by 6:30 PM and will leave no later then half time to avoid the crowd.  So ALL of you who have convertible Jags PLEASE VOLUNTEER to help these high school kids!
