– Car Trials – Who can set this up? When?
Gerard Garra said he would look into
this. He said it would be a good idea to join the SCCA in one
of their events. We need to know about liability - insurance

Judges: Gerard Garra (Chief Judge), Harry Keast, Gary Dyer,
Mike Johnson is working
hard on this. He is still looking for a good location with
lots for drive-by attention. Some places he is looking at are:
Harrah’s Automobile
Parking Area
Sand Harbor – Lake Tahoe
Idwild Park – Reno
Deer Park – Sparks
Wingfield Park – this
was voted down because you can not drive your cars on the grass

Gary Dyer suggested that
we add more to the monthly dinner fliers. He suggests that we
add information of interest to the club. Stories about members
cars, Tech Tips, etc. Patti Mentioned that we don’t have a
monthly newsletter but have a club webpage. She did suggest
that we go through the past “Cat Talks” and revive some of that
information and add it to the dinner fliers.
It was decided to add
more flare/spirit to the club by having theme/dress code nights

In Caughlin Ranch coinciding with
their annual Community Garage Sale. Dyer’s said we could use

Sunny was unable to be at this board
meeting so this was tabled for now.
New Business:
Make a RJC Brochure – Show sample from JCNA Membership Committee:
Decision to ask the
club for their advice
Letter from JCNA requesting any changes to the By-laws be submitted
to the JCNA by March 24th:
We have nothing to
change so this was not a concern
RJC Calendar
Should the club pay for these and distribute to each member?
Should members buy their own?
Patti got an excellent
deal on these calendars. If these were purchased elsewhere
they would have been over $20.00/each.
It was voted that each
member would receive one calendar but it they want more then one
they can buy it at $16.00/each.
Anything Else?
Mike Johnson recommended that we
change the meeting date and time to after working hours and better
on a weekend. All members present agreed.
