RJC Board Meeting May 5, 2007

At The Reno-Fernley Raceway

 

During the trip to the 2007 Reno Historic Races Mike Johnson requested a board meeting to go over a few things that needed immediate attention regarding “A Day on the Village Green”.  The main item on the agenda was the prize trophies.  He mentioned that the RJC members were pretty tired of the pewter plates and wanted to do something different this year.  He proposed crystal and Plexiglas trophies.  He had pictures of different ones to show the board members.  After some discussion it was voted unanimously that the 1st place would be made of  crystal and the largest one, 2nd place would also be crystal and slightly smaller and a different shape and 3rd place would be Plexiglas and also would be different from the others. They are really beautiful.

 

The Jag run to see the sight for the “A Day On The Village Green” that was previously cancelled, due to bad weather, was rescheduled for May 12th, 2007.  This will be an opportunity to go drive up as a group, and check out the Cal-Neva Resort at Crystal Bay, the location for our event, and to have a fun lunch together in the Lakeview Dining Restaurant in the Cal-Neva Resort Casino.

 

The up coming garage sale was briefly mentioned.
