On Saturday June 14th, 2008 some members of The Reno Jaguar Club attended the EuroSunday Driven2Drive event in downtown Reno.  The event kicked off early starting at 7:00am when we lined up on Virginia Street for a Show ‘n Shine.  There were exotic vehicles representing most makes including Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lotus, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Chevy Corvettes, Subaru, Dodge, Mitsubishi, Maserati, and several others.  The weather was a little hot, but it was a nice day.  The crowds were big and enjoyed the show.  Reno Jaguar Club members in attendance were Alex Evans in his Mercedes Benz SL500 Roadster, George Tabor in his XK8 Convertible Jaguar, Rex Black in his XJ6 Jaguar with a Camaro motor, Sam Dibitonto in his XK140 Jaguar, Mike and Kathy Glass in their Mark II Jaguar, Tony Mitchell in his Ferrari Testarossa, and Tony was having so much fun, he went home and came back with his Ferrari 400!  The group broke up around 2pm.  The event continued the next morning at 8am at the Starbucks on Damonte Ranch Parkway where some of the same folks gathered for a check- point rally to Lake Tahoe and a fantastic Father’s Day Brunch at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.  Mike and Kathy were the only club members attending and had a fantastic drive in their XJ6 Jaguar and an even better meal!
