2009 Reno Celtic
Celebration

On Saturday October 3rd, 2009 some members of The Reno Jaguar Club attended The 19th Annual Reno Celtic Celebration at Bartley Ranch Regional Park in Reno.  Randy Wright and George Tabor, a member of The Sierra Highlanders Pipe Band, had arranged for us to have up-front parking and free entry to the event.  We had seven Jaguars’ and an Aston Martin.  Once again the day was cool and a little breezy, but we were able to stay warm with some nice seasonal beers and a few tastes of wine!  Members in attendance were Randy Wright with his 1967 E-Type, his 1996 XJS Jaguar, and his 1997 Aston Martin DB7, Alex Evans in his wife’s 2004 XKR, Mike and Kathy Glass in their 1996 Champagne XJ6 Vanden Plas, George Tabor and his 2000 XK8, Marge Tabor and her 2001 S-Type.  Our cars brought plenty of interest to the street and many people were drooling over our beauties!

The Celebration featured many vendors, Irish and Scottish Dancers, Bagpipe Music, and the Highland Games with men and ladies alike participating, and some tasty food.  The costumes were terrific and we had a great time!  Thanks Randy and George!
