On Tuesday August 1, 2006 eight brave RJC cars did a British Invasion to the Hot August Nights Open Cruise in Sparks Nevada.

The brave members were:

• Chuck Sorter and Family
• Charlie Manchester
• Randy Wright & Patti Wilder
• Mike and Kathy Glass
• Iain and Wendy Buxton
• Harry and Pat Keast
• Jack Campbell
• Sam and Mina Dibitonto

It was a perfect night to be in a parade. The group met at Chuck Sorter’s “50 Yard Line Bar & Grill” for dinner before the tour.

The Jaguars made quite a stir with the viewing crowd.  They were meet with great enthusiasm and smiles.  Randy in his convertible E-type had the Kinks music playing on his tape deck and would tell the crowd as he drove by, “Long Live the Kinks!”

Unfortunately the Jags got separated and therefore only made one loop.  I am sure that the audience was hoping to see them pass through again.

We really need to do this again next year.
