THE 2007 SLO
RUNNING OF THE JAGUARS

On Saturday October 13th, 2007 some members of The Reno Jaguar Club attended The “Running of The Jaguars” sponsored by The Central Coast Jaguar Drivers Club and XK’s Unlimited.  The event was held at a beautiful plaza in the Historic Mission District of San Luis Obispo.  Leading up to the show XK’s hosted an Open House featuring plenty of sales items and tours of their facility.  Three members of The Reno Jaguar Club made the long road trip, (some 400+ miles from Reno), but were treated to a great show and beautiful weather in the low 70’s.  Charlie and Carolyn Manchester and Mike Glass made the trip.  Carolyn trailered “Rosie” their 1947 Mark IV while Charlie followed driving “HMS JAG” over the entire distance.  Mike Glass, with a trailer Charlie loaned him, pulled “Willow” along for the ride.  There were over 70 classic cars at the show.  The Manchester’s cars both garnered first place trophies and Willow took third in her class.  Way to go Reno Jaguar Club!
